Power for the Mission: A Journey Through Acts
What happens when ordinary people surrender to an extraordinary God? That is the story of Acts, and it is the story we want God to write through us. In our new series, Power for the Mission, we are journeying through the opening chapters of Acts and discovering that the birth of the early church is more than history. It is a blueprint for the church today. From Jesus giving His followers their assignment, to a church waiting in prayer, to heaven invading earth at Pentecost, we see believers filled with the Holy Spirit, devoted to God's Word, committed to one another, and passionate about taking the gospel to their world.
As the story unfolds, faith is tested, opposition grows, miracles happen, and ordinary people discover what God can do through lives fully surrendered to Him. Acts reminds us that the mission Jesus gave His first followers is still our mission, and the power He promised is still available today. Join us as we ask God to make us a church that doesn't simply read about what He did then, but believes Him for what He wants to do now. The mission continues. The Spirit still empowers. And God is still looking for ordinary people willing to say, "Here I am. Send me."
