Here at West End, we want to change our lives, our church, our community, our nation and our world radically for Jesus Christ. We believe there is no foundation as solid as that of prayer, in fact, it is the cornerstone. Jesus sought time alone often to pray and instructed his followers on numerous occasions to pray, instructing them on not only how to pray, but who to pray for - everyone, including our enemies. He said in Mark 11:24, "Listen to me! You can pray for anything and if you believe, you will have it" That's a bold promise, and we are to be bold in our prayers, believing and not doubting God's ability in our hearts. We are to pray as if we are speaking to our father, and we are, our Father in heaven, who loves us more than any earthly father could and who "knows exactly what you need even before you as him!" Matthew 6:8.
