John Horn - Associate Pastor of Education

john-lg John Horn is a native of Washington State, where his dad served as a Southern Baptist church planter. John accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and felt God calling him into full-time Christian ministry at a young age. He graduated from Baylor University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education degree. Afterwards, while he was serving as a Baptist Student Union Director at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, John met his wife, Kristi. God has blessed their marriage through the years with two beautiful daughters, Angela and Rebecca.

John graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1986 with a Master of Divinity (theology) degree. During his twenty-nine years of ministry in small and large churches in the Midwest and South, he has worked with all age groups in Christian Education, and has served as a Senior Pastor. God has used John's heart for evangelism and discipleship to lead each of these congregations to experience significant numerical and spiritual growth. On May 1, 2004, John joined the staff of West End Baptist Church as the Associate Pastor of Education.
